Our Journey
We - Akshay and Richard - share much in common. We are friends, neighbors, husbands, fathers and more. IndigoFire was born of a shared passion for high quality coffee and experience that the overwhelming majority of coffees available to us are underwhelming.
From our extensive travels we knew that exceptional coffees are out there; we've made it our mission to find and share them with family, friends, colleagues and beyond. What's more, we want to build an experience that does justice to the high quality, hard to find coffees we curate.
IndigoFire is the manifestation of our vision. Of course, we are just getting started and we are honored that you are taking this journey with us.

Spotlight - China Alta
Our journey has taken us to many places, none more significant than China Alta. A village high in the Tolima mountains, we were fortunate to spend three days in this remarkable community. The farmers embraced us in a way we could not have imagined, inviting us to sample extraordinary coffee, and into their homes to dine with them and immerse ourselves in their culture. We not only sourced coffee from local farms, but we formed a much deeper connection. We will be back for more coffee and to repay the hospitality that was shown to us.
